There are truly not enough stars for Dr. Cristina Maldonado, Dr. Julie Pulsen, and the entire amazing team at Monterey Animal Clinic! ❤️🐾 The level of care, patience, compassion, kindness, understanding, and genuine love they show our fur babies, Culver and Captiva, is simply exceptional. They never make you feel rushed, they listen, they explain, they reassure, and they truly make you feel like your babies matter just as much to them as they do to you — and that means EVERYTHING to a fur mama! 🥹❤️ And let’s be honest… they also deserve a medal for taking care of Mom along the way! 😂😊 Because when it comes to Culver and Captiva, I may be just a tiny bit protective, emotional, full of questions, and completely obsessed with making sure they are okay! Every single visit reminds me how fortunate we are to have found a veterinary team that combines incredible medical care with such heart and humanity. You can genuinely feel how much they care, and that kind of compassion cannot be taught. Dr. Maldonado, Dr. Pulsen, and the entire Monterey Animal Clinic team — THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for loving, caring for, comforting, and taking such wonderful care of our babies… and their crazy Mom too! 😂❤️ We appreciate you more than you will ever know. Scout’s spay incision is the smallest I’ve ever seen on a grown Labrador, barely a touch past 1 inch. That should shorten the healing time considerably I would assume.

Been using Monterey Animal Clinic for over 10 years. All the staff and doctors are wonderful. Dr Wood and staff treats my 10 yo Boston terrier as if he were their own. They pay attention to my concerns , very thorough exams, never rushed. Highly recommend

I would like to commend the technician who took care of Pumpkin Puss (Smith) yesterday and two times previously (toe nail trim). Pumpkin has been so much more at ease since she’s been taking care of him. He used to freak out when I put him in his carrier. He still howls in the car, but he’s quiet when we get there—no longer afraid. I wish to thank her for bringing him comfort.

They always have your pets best interest. I took my pup in for an overdue nail trim. $28.90 was a lot more than I expected to pay. I know they were long but…..

Monterey Animal Clinic is top notch! Drs. Stinman, Maldonado and Hooks are all tremendously good. Been going there for 25+ years and I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else!
